Pinot Vino Extraordinaire!
It is GREAT to see a Pinot Noir wine kit on the market using Willamette Valley grapes! This kit is put together weel, including both RC212 and EC1118 yeast selections. I actually opted for AMH-Assmanhausen, just for learning purposes. AMH turns out to be a SLOW starter, but none-the-less cranked through the Pinot sugars like a champ. There was 1.5 oz of light American oak with this kit and that was all of the flavor/body/tannin additions. Looking forward to the unique flavors this kit will provide on the special yeast!
