Clear wine bottles-set of 12
Choosing corks by corker. Double lever corker use #8 corks, Floor corker use #9 corks, Plastic plunger use #7
Needed at least 30 clear glass wine bottles for decorations at my son’s rehearsal dinner (fake cork w/LED light strings in the bottle), and couldn’t believe I could get more than what I needed for a great flat shipping rate! It would have cost more to buy them locally in Kansas City than to have them shipped from Home Brew Ohio. I wish I knew how to make wine; Home Brew Ohio would (or will?) be my Go-To for everything needed. Immediate shipping (ordered Sunday morning, had tracking number Sunday afternoon), exactly what I wanted, and not one bottle broken. Can’t beat it! Thanks so much!
I love these bottles. I do fruit wine and want the color to shine through. These bottles do just that. Arrive quickly and in good order and always a fair price. You can get these for 9 bucks a case but shipping makes them 18-20 per case at other places. I get 4-6 cases with corks and other odds and ends and the price here is hard to beat.
Bought some more. They are still awesome and very well packed.
I found a similar bottle on another site, but with a punt, and close to the same price. They wanted $90 in shipping! I got these for $7.95 in shipping.
The reason I logged on tonight, and ended up reviewing them is because I'm ordering more... many more.
All the bottles made it in ok, minus one bottle.
I’m not about to send it back for one bottle, otherwise it’s a good bottle
received quickly and received in perfect condition...will order again from them
We needed 200 bottles for a wedding. You can’t beat the quality and price of Home Brew Ohio’s bottles!
As a small wine producer, it makes no sense to buy by the pallet. The price is right and delivery is fast. I prefer the clear so what you see is what you get. Home Brew Ohio has the cheapest price to the door per bottle that I have found. Thanks Home brew... Joel
These have been my go-to bottles for just about every batch of wine/mead I have made. They have good clarity and the flat bottoms make filling with a bottle-filler easy. (Punted bottoms can be tricky if it's a steep punt, making it difficult to press the nozzle of the bottle filler wand down to release the wine.) The only thing that makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that I prefer a slightly taller bottle with some curves (tapering wider toward the top to give a "shouldered" appearance). It's pretty much impossible to find that style without having to buy an entire pallet. So, I stick with these. At least they offer the convenience of a case in stead of a pallet.
